Unclassified weathered (W3-4) NWA (three pieces: 2.5 + 2.0 + 1.2 gr totaling 5.7 gr) labeled "A" from our late Jim Kriegh. Jim's written comment:
"specimen A - unclassified - possibly type 3".

There are a few relatively large FeNi patches. Chondrules are mostly grayish, some of them are oval. There’s one bleached chondrule segment. Troilite is sparse. The 2.5 gr endcut measures 1.65 x 1.07 x 1.01 cm, the 2.0 gr slice = 1.64 x 1.25 x 0.53 cm, and the smaller 1.2 gr endcut measures 1.31 x 0.9 x 0.75 cm.

Great selection of this uNWA Bernd, Lots of chondrules and a very nice matrix. The thin slice would no doubt look great close up:) Cheers

Hello Folks, Definitely not a CB chondrite ... there are no metallic chondrules and, no, it's not loaded with amoeboid (CAIs) either. It *is* a fairly unequilibrated L3.x chondrite. Yes, it was subject to aqueous activity on the parent body! Why? Well, those tell-tale bleached chondrules!

Nice! A colourful meteorite that at some stage was subject to aqueous activity on the parent body. At first I was thinking a Unequilibrated type 3 but it does seems to be loaded with amoeboids rather than well formed chondrules.
