Copyright (c) Cal Powell.
1.84 gram part slice. 14 x 22 x 2 mm.   CVoxB3

TKW 67 grams. Fall not observed. Purchased November 2021, Guelmim, Morocco.

Cal writes:
A single stone without fusion crust. Cut surface reveals large chondrules and large CAIs set in a dark matrix. Millimeter-sized chondrules and CAIs to several mm in size set in abundant Fe-rich fine-grained matrix. Magnetite is abundant. Metal is rare and restricted to µm-sized blebs in silicates. No sulfide was found.

Classification: Carbonaceous chondrite (CVox3). Cvox group based on the elevated magnetite content and quasi-absence of metal. The elevated magnetite content (as indicated by the magnetic susceptibilty)indicates that the meteorite belongs to the CVoxB subgroup (Bali-type).
