What is a thin section?       What do all the colors mean?    
Thin section in cross polarized light.   Diogenite

TKW 40.3 kg. Observed fall 6 July 1924 in Colorado.


Anne writes:
Fell in front of the church of Johnstown, Colorado, just as a funeral was getting underway, the gravediggers were able to dig out the fragments very quickly.
