What an adventure the Gold Basin project was! I was so fortunate to be included in the mapping work for the U of A.

Bonne question , MOHAMED . Cette pierre d'impact de l'atmosph*re et la surface du d*sert il y a 12.000 ans . Il est difficile de savoir ce qui est arriv* * cette pierre dans tout ce temps . Bernd, after swinging a detector out there all day and digging up hot rocks, crust or not you'll know a GB chondrite when you find one! :) Nice one, Twink.

Visually, yes, but it sings loudly when the metal detector is waved over it!! Glad to share the Gold Basin memories.

Fortunately there is some fusion crust left. Otherwise it would have been hard to determine visually that it is a meteorite. Thanks for sharing, Twink!
