The stone on the left is 12.5 grams complete stone on the right is 16.6 grams.   Eucrite-mmict

TKW 330 kg. Observed fall October 1960. Millbillillie and Jundee Stations, Wiluna district, Western Australia.

James writes:
Like many eucrites the fusion crust of Millbillillie is shiny and wonderfully detailed with flow lines. Here is a pair of stones one on the right that is almost totally fusion crusted and the one on the left which I have polished a face onto. While the Met Bulletin Database still shows Millbillillie to be a monomict eucrite it would seem from more recent research that it is actually a polymict eucrite with clasts of varying types of Mg.

Millbillillie stones are generally seen with some bright orange coloring from the clay of the area where they fell. Though this was a witnessed fall stones were not found for about ten years after the event and the exact day of October 1960 is not known.

Excellent photo of 2 beautiful Millbillillie ecrites. Love the flow lines and the polished interior is great! Hopefully the Met Bulletin will update the information soon. Cheers

Hi James, Milllbillillie is one of my favorite meteorites. Very nice flow lines! Thanks for sharing.
