171 grams.   Iron, ungrouped

TKW 1600 kg. Fall not observed. Found 19 February 2009, East Uweinat Desert, Egypt.

TGMS17 writes:
Seen at the 2017 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, Hotel Tucson City Center, room 323 (Suzanne Morrison, Raining Rocks).

From the MetBul:
A total of about 1600 kg of iron meteorite shrapnel (thousands of pieces), ranging in mass from < 1 to 35,000 g, plus a single 83 kg individual completely covered with well developed regmaglypts, was found in and around the 45 m diameter Kamil impact crater by an Italian-Egyptian geophysical team in February 2009 and February 2010. Approximately 800 kg of the total mass observed in the field (the regmaglypted individual inclusive) was recovered. The Kamil crater was identified by V. De Michele, former curator of the Natural History Museum in Milan, Italy. The geophysical survey was carried out within the framework of the "2009 Italian-Egyptian Year of Science and Technology".

John it was an exciting time, though my comment a little offhand: I meant over 100 pounds, not kilos. Those do need most of the space of a large bucket, a very cool way to measure meteorites! I'll try to send Paul my favorite Gebel Kamil photos to share too. Very nice photography on this specimen thanks again for sharing!

Paul...really nice specimen of GK. Doug... you brought a 100 kilos of GK to Denver in 2010? Sounds like enough to fill a driveway sealant size bucket's worth of GK specimens. That is nice batch to share at a show. :)

Thanks Paul and Suzanne for the opportunity to wake up to this charming iron desert sculpture, one of my favorite memories since bringing a hundred kilos to Denver's Spring show in 2010!
