Various masses.   L6

TKW 50 kg. Observed fall 1 February 2019, Pinar del Rio, Cuba.

Jürgen/jnmczurich writes:
L6 chondrite, S3, W0. The total known weight is probably more than 100 kg.

Photo 1 - a fragment showing shock veins.
Photo 2 - the four specimens I purchased, plus a bonus item.
Photo 3 - secondary fusion crust.

Not as bad in price like it was in the weeks after the fall, when the market starts running fast. Looking to the Internet, it seems the prices are falling now to a more or less fair price level. Good for collectors.

I purchased three complete individuals and one individual with broken face from a very friendly guy from Cuba, visiting me at home in mid-April. My Spanish is pretty poor, however, we had a great discussion, mixed with Spanish, English and German! A week later, I donated a 63 g Viņales individual to a Swiss university to support further scientific investigations on this nice and fresh chondrite.

Smoke 'em if you got 'em and send Paul a picture of your meteorites if you got 'em. Thank you.

The bonus item - difficult to find out. Is it the scale torpedo? In any case: great Cuban group.
