Moldavite information here and Ries Crater info here

Bernd writes:
A moldavite from Vrábče-Nová Hospoda in Bohemia, Czech Republic. Depending on your perspective, it may resemble a dumbbell, a dragon-fly, or a bow tie. Moldavites originated when a cosmic projectile collided with the Earth about 15 Mio. years ago and excavated the Ries Basin in Southern Germany.
