99.1 grams.   Achondrite-ung

TKW 345 grams. Fall not observed. Found 2012 in southern Morocco.

Anne writes:
Fragment with green crust along one face.

Described by Dr. Irving as Ungrouped magnesian achondrite.

The specimens have an overall primary cumulate igneous texture, and are composed mainly of calcic plagioclase, Cr-bearing diopside (Fs1.8-2.2Wo44.3-43.8; FeO/MnO = 12-15) and forsterite (Fa4.5-4.6; FeO/MnO = 36-41) with accessory Cr-bearing troilite and kamacite. Lobate forsterite grains are commonly associated with elongate pores. Grain boundaries between plagioclase and diopside exhibit a complex texture consisting of plagioclase laths within diopside or vice-versa, together with finely distributed kamacite and troilite inclusions. This material is paired with NWA 7325 and NWA 8014.

French is okay with me. It allows for an unintended pun: "...c'est subLIME !!!!" (wait for it) as in lime-green crust.

Exactly Denis. I did not have it on Saturday in Ensisheim, it was being negotiated, and I got it on Sunday. (since most people here speak English, I think it is only polite to use English too).
