18 grams. L4-6.

Jim writes:
This is a split individual of NWA 869 polished to 3000 grit. Field of view is 16 x 16 mm [before cropping which removed about 3mm horizontally] and the whole stone is 18 grams. One of the better 869 interiors I've come across - quite chondrully ;-)

Why are these great meteorites called "ordinary" chondites?... This is a beauty, thanks for sharing it with us.

On rare occasion one sees a really beautiful NWA 869 and this is one of them. Great-looking stone.

This just goes to prove my belief in 869 being one of the best and beautiful once cut and polished.
