nice follow-up Anne...D'Orbigny is a strange one. As Bernd noted the XPO colors are reflecting crystals going in all directions in that spread. Good stuff!!

Angritic interference colors in all their glory: plagioclase, pyroxene, olivine ... Beautiful!
