Also known as a Bencubbinite and, naturally, this is the namesake.

Thank you Paul. I am glad you like it and got it. And Twink, sorry I missed your question yesterday about slickensides on Zag: No, no earthquake. But occasionally, when a meteorite explodes going through the atmosphere, some of the fragments being ripped apart will grind against each other making those grooves, and sometimes if it happened early enough a thin layer of crust might form on them. You can see that mostly on Zag and Chelyabinsk. I'll show you in Tucson. |
