These photos are shared here to celebrate Moon Festival! The two pieces of lunar meteorite are said to be found in Libya. Both of them show fusion crust covering most of their untreated surface area, and contrasting anorthitic clasts and melted matrix on the polished cut faces. They are currently under classification in Cascadia Meteorite Laboratory, Portland State University.

Photo 1: 152g and 50g end pieces

Photo 2: Back side of the 152g piece showing fusion crust
