Pictures 1 to 7: Main mass 469.7 g presented for sale at the Ensisheim meteorite show 2022.

Pictures 8 to 9: Cut slice 127.7 g.

This ungrouped very rare meteorite is an albitite with one of the highest modal feldspar contents ever reported in a meteorite. Because the exterior is dominated by a pink to light orange color, people in Ensisheim spontaneously called this stone "flamingo rock".

I don't think I've ever encountered an 'albitite' before!

This material looks like a "gneiss" earthly anorthosite fragment with magnetite, amphibole, etc.

Weird and at the same time beautifully intriguing rock. Speaks for your outstanding taste!
