The namesake for the CK meteorites.

Fell on November 25, 1930 in South Australia, and picked up within the next couple weeks.

Large mass with thick crust, some orientation, broken back.

Legally exported from Australia.

Certainly a Classic! Thank you Paul. And Andi is right it was found by a bird (I don't now what kind) :-) And Andreas, you are right you did see it in Ensisheim, it belonged to Marc Jost then.

A very nice specimen of a rare CK fall. I think I saw it once in Ensisheim some years ago, right? Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos, Anne.
