Ray writes:
Rare ancient depiction of a meteorite. Phoenicia, Sidon, Imperial period during the rule of Trajan (98 - 117 AD). Bronze drachm, turreted, veiled & draped bust of Tychert. Cart of Astarte with a baetyl ( Meteorite ). Inscription reads "SIDWNOS THEAS".

This meteorite was thought to be sacred, right from the Gods. It was displayed and worshiped in the Cart of Astarte, pictured here.
