TKW 1.1 tons (1000 kg). Observed fall February 18, 1948, near Norton, Kansas, USA.

Classified as AUBRITE (fragmental impact breccia). Fell across the Kansas-Nebraska state line in 1948

This specimen is best described as being 50% enstatite and 50% impact-melt breccia, an impactite from the parent-body of the Norton County enstatite achondrite.

Wow, like weathered limestone with a rust stain - easy to step over a little specimem like that,unless a sample has already been found, so you seek cream colored. Thanx Bolide Chaser
