This is so beautiful. A wonder of the Universe.
This photo should be made into a print to be auctioned at an IMCA Fundraiser, or sell tickets for a Draw.
Maybe all Members could be able to buy a print. |

Thanks for looking! Bernd, my words exactly--Lol. Ray, I took it a couple of years ago and my record keeping is nonexistint. It was either an Olympus S700,or S1000 or an MEM1300. Worst off, I also can not remember which of 3 scopes was used. There are 3 other pics on the Eom under XPOL with two at(if memory serves me)about 800 magnification. Thanks all, John. |

Thanks for sharing this gorgeous image of Tamassint (aka NWA 4590). This fresh angrite has always been one of my favorites! ;-) |

what are You using for a camera ? |

Not only is this TS stunning, NWA 4590 as such is a stunning angrite - albeit very friable! You just gotta love those olivines with their conspicuous exsolution lamellae of kirschsteinite [CaFe(SiO4)] and these "snow-white" pure anothite crystals. Thanks for sharing!
