Paired with the "Black Beauty" (NWA 7034), this basaltic breccia meteorite contains as much as 6000ppm of water and its formation goes back as far as 4.4 billion years on Mars. Thin section of this shows many inclusions of various types, some with rather interesting "rod" shaped "sub-inclusions" (photo 3). What are these?
