321 grams. 135 x 91 x 4 mm. One of only 11 meteorites classified as   Iron, IC

TKW 683 kg. Fall not observed. Found 1896 in Sonora, Mexico.

Buchwald and the MetBul disagree by almost 50 kilometers on the find site and 2 years on when it was found.

Arispe is a coarse octahedrite with well defined kamacite bars of about 3 mm width. Neumann bands are viable in almost all kamacite bars. There are some interesting cohenite clusters/crystals ((Fe, Ni, Co)3C) with irregular shape to see in the Arispe iron.

The close-up views are about 8x6 mm

I love Arispe. I hunted there once. Amazing place. High in the mountains. Heavy forests. Takes many hours to get there.
