I believe Hasna Chennaoui-Aoudjehane had a lot to do with some Moroccan meteorites getting a name when enough is know about the location of the find.

yes, John gives extra interest and accuracy to the meteorite when it comes to the name of a city rather than a number.

Awesome photos of this CM 1/2 rarity. Interesting trend of collectors or dealers getting local meteorite names in lieu of a NWA #, with the location of find coordinates provided to qualify. This is similar to the La'gad lunar paired to NWA 8455 and other numbers.
