What the heck is a gabbro?

A complete slice of Lunar Gabbro NWA 6950. It is in the Canary Museum of Meteorites. Museo Canario de Meteoritos holds the biggest lunar meteorites in Spain.

Interesante ejemplar.

Very Nice Specimen! A beautiful olivine gabbro with abundant melt veins. And I also see little spots of the breccia lithology on the edges!
