26.7 gram full slice.   unclassified

Bernd writes:
This is a full slice of a beautiful but unclassified HED: NWA 2223. Its status is still provisional. Several years ago it was assigned to Dean Bessey but he never had it classified. I purchased this slice from him in 2004. It's either a eucrite or a howardite. My guess is howardite.

Nice stone, "busy" matrix, AHOW could well be! (P.S. Dean B seems to have moved to Australia or New Zealand long ago. I once met him in Munich)

Nice example Bernd. I too obtained many very nice stones from Dean in those early days that still need further work. He had some very nice well priced material.
