Important and exciting new submission [from Arizona] - a 258.8 gram chondrite found by Patricia “Trisha” Malody near Cochise Stronghold, Arizona, while hiking and rock hunting in this scenic and historic area of Southeastern Arizona. Trisha has been a rock hound for most of her life and she immediately suspected this was a meteorite mainly due to it’s heavier than normal weight for a stone this size. Classification pending and Trisha would like for her meteorite to be named “Cochise Stronghold”. Me too! Nice going Trisha.

Awesome find. I've hunted near there after the "Whetstone" fall. Congrats to Trisha.
