0.46, 1.9, 0.8, 2.0, 3.5, ann 6.9 grams.   LL5
TKW 1 ton and counting. Observed fall 15 February 2013, in Chelyabinskaya oblast’, Russia.

Matthias writes:
6 mini-samples of Chelyabinsk – between 0.5 and 6.9 g -, recovered in February 2013 only four days after the fall, 30 km south of the City of Chelyabinsk, close to the village of Zauralskiy. All of them completely covered with fresh black fusion crust, some of them showing foamy ridges, some with glassy crust, some with features of orientation, some completely oriented.

Such small stones are typical for Chelyabinsk, the fall of our time, but extremely rare in this quality. They rained down over a large area and penetrated thick layers of snow, leaving small holes at the surface behind them. So the people of the villages could find them easily and pull them out of the snow.
