Hi Anne, this looks like Tishomingo. My Zaragoza fullslice got silver color with a very tiny pattern. Is it treated?

Yes Andi, it is a dark iron. not much of a pattern.

Nice iron but rather unusual etch. Is it burnished because of it*s black look? And has it got schlierenbands?
