141.3 grams.   H4-5

TKW 141 grams. Fall not observed. Found 15 March 2017, Niedersachsen, Germany.

Dieter writes:
This ordinary chondrite was found by the facility manager of a school while collecting rocks for the school garden. The stone was picked up on 15 March 2017 from on a rock pile next to a potato field and was kept by the finder because of its unusual appearance and its magnetic properties.

The height of the Playmobil figures is 7.5 cm.

Very cool, I hope someone is out looking for more. I've checked many rock rows and piles in my area, no meteorites from that method yet!

Nice playmobil figures (Dieter & Gabi - a really meteorite enthusiastic couple) and great meteorite find.

Very cool! Just like Japan recently, strange rocks that are interesting are sometimes from space. It would be awesome to see more from this find. Cheers!

Wonderful find and acquisition Dieter. Great when they turn up like this...one wonders what else is out there. Has anybody managed to do any further searches of the fields?

Dieter and Gaby, thank you for sharing this German find with the community! It's worth the while keeping an eye on suspicious-looking rocks on rock piles!
