647 grams in as-found condition with a beautiful bronze-colored patina. 136 x 68 x 62 mm.   Iron, ungrouped

TKW 209.4 kg. Fall not observed. Found 1912, Respublika Tyva, Russia.

Iron meteorite, Ataxite, found in the Siberian Tanna-Tuva-Region. First fragments found in 1913 at the riverbank of Chinga river by gold diggers.

Expressively shaped piece, fallen 10.000-20.000 years ago in East Siberia on glacier ice. Sculpted pieces like this one are rare regarding the history of glacial and fluvial transportation.

Very nice one...always debatable to clean...I do have a small cleaned specimen that shows incredible stress fractures and fissures...this looks like it went through similar trauma.
