@ Bernd Pauli; The Achondritic inclusion has a melted chondritic precursor with relict chondrules visible in REM. Interesting fact about the inclusion: its SiO in it and its aqueous altered! Very special inclusion. And rare. One slice out of 600...

Very nice specimen, Michael... Is this specimen polished? Photo 3 would indicate that it's not. I wonder what the inclusions would look like if highly polished.. |
