Information from Metbase 7.2:
A 5.59kg stone was found by a farmer plowing a grain field; reported, with basic data, mineral composition and shock and type classification; an L chondrite genomict breccia; ~2/3 of the material is L3.5 (based on ITL sensitivity), shock stage S4 and the other 1/3 is L5, S5; black melt veins are abundant, J.N.Grossman, Met. Bull. 83, MAPS, 1999, 34, p.A169. Fa (mol%) mean: 25, range: 1-31

great looking chondrite, and the L3.5 to L5 classification fits the brecciated look. I always liked the look of this American find. |

Very Nice!!! It appears as if its composed of three different lithologies unless I'm mistaking about the small dark section in the top right hand corner, to top it off its a wonderful size slice allowing you to really inspect it all. |
