Now this is a textbook example of a CV3-type carbonaceous chondrite,
very "busy", including up to cm-sized dark and lighter colored inclusions,
CAIs, mineral fragments, and composed of large chondrules in a grayish
matrix. I bought this slice (mass 50.277 g, scale cube is 1 cm size) way
back in 2009, and it has been in one of my display cabinets ever since. You
can learn quite a lot from itīs texture, thatīs why I like this goodie.

The dark area is devoid of chondrules, but you can see some very small brighter spots there which may be small mineral fragments. |

That is undoubtedly one of the large inclusions... |

What first caught my eye is the absolutely featureless area in the upper left corner which is totally devoid of chondrules! |

Hi Alexander and all, Beautiful piece for sure. I like a busy matrix in specimens and this is an excellent example of a great meteorite. Best always! |
