TKW 4.33 kg. Fall not observed. Found 2015 in Egypt.

 


Timur writes:
One of two large chondrites, found by Timur Kryachko, in Egypt, on the coast of the Red Sea. Search was made - on foot. Meteorite found - almost in the dump of one of the hotels. Despite the cracking, the iron in this H6-chondrite - preserved in the form of metal.

 12/7/2017 1:45:49 PM		 Great to know that some meteorites can be found in the dump of Egyptian hotels. I already found a pallasite near a fried chicken place near the North coast of Egypt. An open invitation for hunters to come and search Egyptian deserts.
