Hi John, This post is from three years ago and Paul just did a re-post. The classification on meteorites from this strewnfield was completed last year as an L6 chondrite with the name Bullhead City and yes, it is brecciated. Might be full slices available from the above stone in the near future.

Todd, yes it unclassified, but can you state it is a possible___? L or H are easy first guesses...just curious on my part. It looks like it could be possibly brecciated or it has inclusions or something by the variations in color. |

Thanks everyone. Checking my email this am and saw my name on MOPD and thought,I didn't submit a pic for today, then saw that Paul was giving us a 'Blast from the past' classic. Been trying but no finds this year so far.
Scott,Congrats on the new classification. Yes,that indeed was a nice find she made. I'm looking for a Lunar that size.

Nice Todd That looks a lot like the 7 lb one my wife found. Got the Classification from Melinda not long ago. Its a H4 S2 W1. So its not a Buck Mt wash or Franconia. |
