What is a thin section?       What do all the colors mean?
Thin section between crossed polarizers.   LL7

TKW 243 grams. Fall not observed. Found 2016.

Don't miss the zoomable hi-res picture on Flicker.

Solar writes:
Paired with NWA 7030, it belongs to the LL7 class of meteorites, contains sanidine, and gives the impression of being a fascinating sample from the early solar system. Within the large grains of similar color can be found smaller grains of various colors, shapes, and sizes.
