José writes:
Barea fell in the La Rioja region of Spain in 1842. It is an incredibly rare meteorite (Mesosiderite A-1) only six specimens: Vaca Muerta; Patwar; Mount Padbury; Dyarrl Island; Crab Orchard and Barea. 3.200 grams were recovered, and at least 1.800 grams are residing in oficial institutions.

Barea is 176 years old and the metal that you see is completely clean, if you see something brown it is not rust, maybe silicates or other material
