José writes:
Barea fell in the La Rioja region of Spain in 1842. It is an incredibly rare meteorite (Mesosiderite A-1) only six specimens: Vaca Muerta; Patwar; Mount Padbury; Dyarrl Island; Crab Orchard and Barea. 3.200 grams were recovered, and at least 1.800 grams are residing in oficial institutions.

Resembles 2924. Very weathered for a fall. So old it's falling apart. New recovery?

"3.2000" is the European way of writing three thousand two hundred, so all is well.

Nice Photo. Should read 3.2 Kilograms recovered though, not 3.2 grams.
