  LL7

TKW 222 grams. Fall not observed. Purchased April 2014 from a Moroccan dealer.

Bernd writes:
Here's an endcut of the NWA 8417 LL7 chondrite. The interior is pale green, there are some visible FeNi specks, some areas show brown stains. On the right you can see a large oikocryst (the enclosing crystal in poikilitic fabric) of orthopyroxene (9 x 7 mm), a smaller one can be seen in the 11 o'clock position. Chondrules are absent. Interesting feature: triple junctions.
