On October 3rd 2015, while hunting the desert outside of Laughlin, Nevada, I discovered my first Nevada cold find. Though I avidly hunt the Tri-State area of the Mojave Desert, as this is where I live, all of my prior cold finds have come from Arizona, so this was an exciting find for me. Weight of the stone is 95.2 grams and it appears to be an L type, Ordinary Chondrite. Obviously a small piece to a bigger puzzle.
