TKW 300kg. Fall not observed. Found 1875 in Chile.
From the Encyclopedia of Meteorites:
The following eight irons, of total weight 266 kg, identical in structure and composition, are now collectively known as 'North Chile' because exact localities are unknown:
Coya Norte
Filomena
Puripica
Quillagua
Rio Loa
San Martin
Tocopilla
Union
Each mass is part of a single kamacite crystal in which rhabdites are irregularly distrubuted; cosmic and artificial fracturing were controlled by rhabdite plates.
jnmczurich writes:
Cut from the Tocopilla mass, with distinct Neumann bands - lovely! Collector trade (1988).
