Thin section in cross polarized light. L6
TKW 7.5 kg. Fall not observed. Found 1971, Ostgronland, Greenland.

Ordinary chondrite L6, with large relict chondrules.
Only stony meteorite ever found in Greenland.
One mass of 7.5kg found in 1971, presently in the Museum of Copenhagen Denmark.

A really nice TS Anne,You are lucky to have this piece :)
The colours are excellent and this is a special historic meteorite to be the only Stony meteorite from Greenland. |
