Dome-shaped, intensely oriented stone with remnant fusion crust, fine radial flow lines and a distinct all round melting lip. Acquired by a member of an expedition through West Sahara from Bedouins.

Just tried, Bernd: the magnet was clearly attracted by the beetle. OC H, most probably.

Matthias, how strongly does it respond to a strong magnet. That might help cautiously "classifying" it as an H, an L or an LL chondrite. No response at all may hint toward something achondritic.
