TKW 14 kg. Observed fall 7 September 1753, Rhone-Alpes, France.


Shawn writes:
The second meteorite fall to come from France.

After detonation, two stones were found, one 9kg at Luponnas and the other of 5kg at Pont-de-Vesle, Jerome la Lande (1803). Very little appears to have been preserved.

The main mass of 84g at the British Natural History Museum.
