80 x 60 mm slice.   LL3.10

TKW 1101 grams. Fall not observed. Found 2004 in Morocco.

Robert writes:
When the universe smiles at you... you just have to smile back! And then buy the meteorite. Being primitive and highly unequilibrated, the feature in this slice (approx 1 cm, see arrow) is perhaps the best available evidence that early life may have existed prior to the consolidation of the planets and asteroids.

I am giving a presentation on meteorites to the Northern Colorado Astronomical Society in Ft Collins, CO on Oct 01, so I thought that that would be a good day to have the photo posted.

Thanks to you all for the very supportive comments. The presentation to NoCoAstro went pretty well, I think. Great group. Thanks to Anne Black for making the drive to hear the talk. And thanks to Wendy for introducing me to MPOD at the Denver Show.

Wow that is gorgeous!!! Chondrule packed meteorites are my favorites, the orange cream colors are beautiful.

Great slice for sure. Made me smile. Super idea using this slice as part of outreach. 😎 Regarding the first comment, this meteorite is NOT paired with NWA 5717 or NWA 7402.
