5854 grams. Specimen 15459 (sample collection bag 6) from the Apollo 15 mission. Found sometime between 30 July and 2 August 1971, Hadley Rille, near the edge of Imbrium Basin, Luna.   Lunar regolith breccia

Al, I have seen some of your Smithsonian pictures. I likely saw the display at the air and space museum. I have a Smithsonian "Lafayette" nakhlite picture on the MPOD (05/12/2016) that similar is to the one of yours' that is shown in at least one of the Richard Norton books.

Think I have a photo of this piece, which is displayed at the Air & Space Museum. Beautiful for sure and very much like some of our Lunar Meteorite specimens. Thanks for sharing.
