220 gram full slice.   Pallasite PMG

TKW 37.6 kg. Fall not observed. Found 1915, Albin, Wyoming, USA.

Paul writes:
Albin has an amazing array of crystal sizes, shapes, and colors, probably evidence of violence encountered in space. I've had this slice for about 10 years and it has been very stable. The only thing that has gone "wrong" with it is the coating on the etched side yellowed, so I refinished it last weekend.

If you are going to the Tucson Gem Show this year you can see this slice in Anne Black's room at the Inn Suites (currently know as the Hotel City Center).

Yes, the Tucson Show is getting very close, just 2 weeks away. Thank you Paul, I'll glad to show all your pallasites. And Steve, I hope you will come, and I will be in the InnSuites (Tucson CityCenter) Room 322, for the whole show. See you there, and everybody else!

A more difficult to find pallasite specimen that would expand any collection with pride! Love the kaleidoscope of tones and nice detail in the photos, thanks!
