  Chondrite-ung

TKW 240 grams. Fall not observed. Found October 2017, Antofagasta, Chile.

 


Timur writes:
The third member of the family of so-called "G-chondrites". The first fragment, weighing 30 grams, was found in October 2017, by Timur Kryachko. Two larger fragments were foundin the next half a year by Mikhail Nepomiluyev and Cyril Lorenz.

There are several small fragments, weighing about 5 grams. Currently, this meteorite is being investigated by an international consortium led by Marina Ivanova.
