  LL7-melt breccia

Ziyao writes:
This is the only approved meteorite classified as LL7-melt breccia.

From the MetBul:

Backscattered electron and reflected light microscope images show fine grain recrystallized olivine, pyroxene, and plagioclase intruded upon by ubiquitous shock melt. No chondrule is visible. Minor phases include chromite, troilite, and oxidized iron. Metal was not detected.

Ordinary chondrite LL7 melt breccia. The oxygen isotope values of this meteorite plot in the LL-chondrite field. Melt breccia based on the brecciated LL7 clasts set in a shock melt matrix.

Main Mass: Ziyao Wang

Always interesting when there are no comments on a particular piece, especially when it is classified to be a unicorn like this one. I'm curious as to what method was used to cut this piece?
