Thank you Bernd for the explanation. And yes Vincenzo, Bencubbin was the first Bencubbinite, not as pretty as Gujba, but the first. And the queue is empty already, we need to send pictures to Paul.

Hello Paladino. Bencubbin was the one that was found earliest - in 1930. That's why the CBs were called Bencubbinites. There's one more - Weatherford - that was found even earlier (in 1926) but was recognized as meteoritic only in 1940.

I ask this question because of the 7 meteorites classified CBa only the gujba was seen to fall

wonderful specimen thanks anne. Take this opportunity to ask a question, all the carbonaceous meteorites that gave the group its name were seen to fall, only BENCUBBIN was not seen to fall. Should the GUJBA name the group,?
