Steve - it's not etched. Sometimes a mirror polish brings out small features like you see here.

great slice Paul... I love Imilac and personally put it in the same category as Esquel for pallasites. Olivine color is different but still stunning.

An awesome slice! I can't tell from the image if it has been slightly etched, but the prep looks amazing. Like John said, a piece that conjures great envy!

A blizzard of golden olivines nearing a sunrise or sunset - the real color of summer reindeer-eyes (When they go to Chile at Christmas)! Fantastic gemmy slice, nicely prepared and so nicely photographed! Thanks Paul!
