Geoff writes:
Laguna Manantiales is so very rarely offered on the collectors' market that I snapped up this elegant part slice the moment I saw it. It shows a rich, luminous etch, and this actual piece was used during filming of the Meteorite Men S3 episode "Dronino" and can clearly be seen on Dr. Garvie's desk. A rare meteorite with nice MM provenance.

Oops! My mistake. At 330 grams this piece would have a density of 73 gm/cc! I corrected the weight to 33 grams.

Hhhhmmmmmm........ Looks very much like a slice I sold in the Blood Auction in February 2011, same exact dimensions, same dark line 3/4 of the way across. But the weight was 33.08grams. And I sold a dozen of those slices that year.

Nice Etch Geoff! Good history behind it makes it even more desirable. Cheers
